Ceiling Fan Balancing Clip (Wood Blades)

PLA, as-is (Z up), no supports. 4 walls, 25% infill, 0.2 mm. ~15 minutes.

Fit

The default slot is 6 mm. Measure your blade edge first. If it's not 6 mm, open fan_clip.py, change BLADE_THICKNESS, re-run (needs CadQuery: pip install cadquery). Or edit the STEP file in any CAD tool.

Use

Tighten all blade screws first — most «wobble» is loose hardware.

Run the fan, note the wobble, turn off.

Slide the clip onto a blade and run again. Try each blade.

On the blade that improves things most, slide the clip in/out to find the sweet spot.

Replace the clip with a stick-on balancing weight at that spot.

Safety

Diagnostic only. Lowest speed, stay clear, remove as soon as you've found the spot.
