Like others I wanted to try turning one of these cheap solar light buoys into a small solar mesh node, but mine turned up with a glued cap like many others.

I made these tools to better be able to clamp the body of the buoy and get good leverage on the cap using a 30mm socket and breaker bar.

I printed it in PETG in the orientation in the file using PLA as a support material. It actually didn't take a ton of force to remove the cap and mine way completely undamaged, but I'd probably recommend 4 walls just in case. It fits the cap very snugly, so I'd recommend making sure your tolerances are good.
