Meshtastic Seeed Studio Xiao ESP32S3 & Wio SX1262 1.3 OL...
The revision I made:
A bit bigger case
Up to 2500 mAh 104050 battery
3 button at the front
More ventilation holes
Additional charging module holder (TP4057, IP2312)
For Xiao board fixation now use screws
Room for a thin circular plate with a diameter of 20 mm
Battery: up to 2500 mAh Lipo (104050) battery.
Slide Switch: In the original design, it use a sub-miniature or micro-miniature (or something like that) slide switch, alternatively you can use a switch with the SS12F15 type (main body length around 10-11 mm and width/depth 5-6 mm) with a maximum stem length of 5 or 6 mm (The length of the switch guard is 6 mm so don't exceed it).
Button: I recommend tactile button with total height of 6 mm, which I think are easier to press than 5 mm. If use 7 mm it might be too long and likely prone to accidental press.
Heatsink: I also made room for a thin circular plate with a diameter of 20 mm and use some small thermal pad.
Screw: Only for slide switch and Xiao board. All use M2x4 mm screws. The rest still use hot glue. :))
Charging module: You can add an additional charger module by installing it on the back case, just choose the one that suits the module you will use, currently I use a mini TP4057 module like this, there is also one for IP2312 module (more efficient and doesn't get hot) but I didn't have time to try whether the size is right, so please try it and adjust it yourself.
Tip: Keep the 2.4 GHz antenna (WiFi/BLE) away from the battery as it will significantly impact the stability of the Wi-Fi connection. (Based on personal experience).
For the rest explanation, you can check on the previous model or the original design.
